Project Management Support - Projects

Projects are usually one-off events or activties that have a start and a finish.  If a project tends to repeat itself over and over again with the same or different entities, the efficient way to handle them is by creating a process.<create process>  For individual projects, this platform will be efficient and clear as the individual tasks are tracked against key milestones to completion.

Creating a new Project

1. Hover over "Business Management Tools"
2. Hover over "Project Management" in the menu, and then click on "Manage Projects" in the submenu.
3. Click on "Create Project"
4. Enter the name of the project and other relavant information and click "submit"

Your new project is now created. Milestones, project tasks and status codes can now be created and managed for this project.

Data Sections

• Entity - Select which entity to associate with this project from the drop-down menu.
• Status - For new projects, select "incomplete" in the drop-down menu.
• Description - Use this space to enter any additional notes as needed to describe or enhance the entry.
