Process Management Support - Create and Manage Process Steps

A process is made of steps. The My Market Toolkit Process Manager allows you to build processes with role-based steps and dependencies based on either the process start date or end date. Process steps are assignable to certain groups or individuals within roles. These assignees are responsible to complete steps in the process.

Examples of a Process Step might be:

  • "Invoice Customer"
  • "Submit Contract to Underwriting"

For process steps that are repeated with one or more processes, consider creating a process step template to save time.

Creating a new Process Step

  1. Hover over "Business Management Tools"
  2. Hover over "Process Management" in the menu, and then click on "Manage Processes" in the submenu
  3. Choose an existing process from your list of existing processes and click on the "Show Details" icon on the far right column
  4. On the bottom of that new page, click on "Add Step" - you will be taken to a page that allows you to create a new step or choose from a step template to add to this process
  5. Choose an existing process step to add to this process from the drop-down menu, or create a new process. Choosing an existing process step template from the drop-down menu will auto-fill in all of the other fields as previously determined for this template. When choosing an existing process step template, you can still rename it in the name field. If creating a new step specific to this process, name it in the name field and fill in or choose the appropriate information in the following fields. Your new process step is now created and attached to a specific process.
