Email Support - Email Content

Email messages are sent in 2 parts: HTML and text. A messages may also contain variable data from the CRM or other lists. Fields include:

• Tokens - Tokens are placeholders for variable data. Copy the desired token and paste it into the HTML or text. When the email is rendered at the time of deployment, the token will be replaced by the appropriate corresponding data.
• HTML Content - Many of the most successful email pieces are HTML based. Use Dreamweaver or another HTML editor to compose your email. Simply copy and paste the HTML into the appropriate field. Since email HTML standards are different than website standards, be sure to keep the design concise.
• Text Content - Compose a text only version (usually a simplified version of the HTML version) and place it in the appropriate field.
• SPAM Score - Once the content is added, check the SPAM score (click Check MQS Score button) - higher is better.
